Privacy Policy

Effective October 16, 2026. This policy covers anberquality.com, the client portal at app.anberquality.com, and the Anber apps for iOS and Android.

Privacy Policy Terms of Use

1. Who we are

Anber Quality Construction (“Anber,” “we,” “us”) is a construction company serving New York and New Jersey. For privacy requests, contact us at info@anberquality.com, +1 (551) 232-1332, or 163 Central Ave, Unit D, Rochelle Park, NJ 07662.

2. What this policy covers

This policy applies when you:

  • visit or send a form on anberquality.com;
  • use the client portal at app.anberquality.com; or
  • use the Anber app published on the Apple App Store or Google Play.

The apps are for Anber clients and authorized team members. They are tools for active projects, not a public social network. The apps do not use advertising or analytics pixels. The public website does: we use Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta Ads, as described below.

3. Information you give us

Website inquiries

If you request a consultation, we receive the details you submit:

  • name, phone number, and email address;
  • project type, project location, and project description; and
  • your confirmation that we may contact you about that inquiry.

The form opens an email to info@anberquality.com. We use those details to review the request and reply. Sending the form does not create a construction contract.

Accounts

Clients and staff sign in to the portal and the apps with an email address and password. We keep the account name, email, user identifier, role, and the projects that account is allowed to see. Password resets use a code sent to the email on the account.

Project records

Depending on your role, the portal and apps may include:

  • project names, addresses, schedules, tasks, and notes;
  • daily logs, approvals, and messages about the work;
  • photos, videos, invoices, and other files you choose to attach; and
  • questions and files you send to Anber AI.

A photo, invoice, or file is not added to the project record until you confirm it. If the device is offline, the app can hold that item on the device until it can be sent.

4. Device features the apps use

The iOS and Android apps ask for a permission only when a feature needs it. You can deny or later revoke a permission in the device settings. Denying one permission limits that feature. It does not close your account.

  • Camera. Used to photograph a job site or an invoice. We do not access the camera in the background.
  • Photos and files. Used so you can choose an existing photo or document to attach. On Android, the app uses the system picker and does not request broad access to your photo library.
  • Microphone and speech recognition. Used only if you dictate a question to Anber AI. Speech is turned into text on the device. It is not stored until you send the message.
  • Motion sensors. Used so a job-site photo stays upright while you take it. We do not use motion data to track where you are.
  • Notifications. Used to tell you about project activity you are allowed to see. You can turn notifications off in the device settings.
  • Face ID, fingerprint, or other biometrics. Used only to unlock a session already saved on that device. Biometric templates stay with Apple or Google on the device. Anber does not receive, store, or transmit them, and biometrics do not replace your password.

The apps do not request precise GPS location.

5. Information collected as the service runs

To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the portal and apps, our servers may receive:

  • IP address, date and time, and the pages or API requests used;
  • app version, device type, and operating system; and
  • a device token if you allow push notifications.

This information is linked to an account only when that link is needed to sign you in, deliver a notification, or investigate abuse. Portal and app logs are not used to build advertising profiles.

6. How we use information

  • to answer consultation requests;
  • to create and protect accounts, including password resets;
  • to show each person only the projects and files they are authorized to see;
  • to store site photos, logs, invoices, and messages that are part of the work;
  • to run Anber AI on the content you send it;
  • to send service notifications you have allowed;
  • to measure visits to anberquality.com and to show and measure ads on Google and Meta; and
  • to meet record-keeping duties that apply to a licensed contractor, including warranty, insurance, safety, and legal claims.

7. Anber AI

Anber AI is a project assistant inside the apps. It answers from the message, photo, or file you submit and from project information your account can already access. A dictated question is not kept until you send it. AI output can be wrong. It is not a permit, an engineering opinion, a price, or an instruction to change the work unless Anber confirms it through the normal project process.

8. When we share information

We share personal information only in these cases:

  • People on the project. Clients, staff, and authorized trades see the project information their role allows.
  • Service providers. Hosting, email, and storage vendors process information for us, under instructions, so the website, portal, and apps can function.
  • Google, for the public website. Google Analytics measures how the site is used. Google Ads measures ad clicks and conversions and can show Anber ads, including remarketing, on Google and partner sites. Google may use cookies and similar identifiers. Google’s policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Meta, for the public website. Meta Ads, including the Meta Pixel, measures visits and conversions and can show Anber ads on Facebook and Instagram, including to people who have visited the site. Meta’s policy is at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
  • Apple and Google, for the apps. They distribute the iOS and Android apps and deliver push notifications. Their own privacy terms apply to the store account you use to download the app.
  • Google Fonts. The website loads typefaces from Google. Your browser contacts Google to fetch those files.
  • Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, court order, or a licensing body, or to protect Anber, our clients, or the public from harm or fraud.

We do not sell personal information to data brokers. Advertising and measurement tools on the public website can use cookies for cross-context advertising, such as showing an Anber ad after you leave the site. You can limit that as described in the next section.

9. Cookies, analytics, and ads

The public website, anberquality.com, uses cookies, pixels, and similar technology. The client portal and the iOS and Android apps keep a sign-in session on the device. They do not run Google Analytics, Google Ads, or the Meta Pixel.

What the website uses

  • Essential. Technology needed to load the site and, in the portal, to keep you signed in. You can sign out at any time.
  • Google Analytics. Counts visits, pages, approximate location, device, and how people move through the site, so we can improve it. Analytics may receive your IP address and a cookie identifier.
  • Google Ads. Records that an ad was shown or clicked, whether a visit led to a consultation request, and can build audiences for remarketing. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites.
  • Meta Ads. The Meta Pixel tells Meta which pages were viewed and whether a visit matches a Facebook or Instagram ad. Meta may use that information to measure results and to show Anber ads to you or to similar audiences.
  • Google Fonts. The website loads typefaces from Google. Your browser contacts Google to fetch those files.

These cookies usually last from the browsing session up to about two years, depending on the cookie Google or Meta sets. Clearing your browser cookies removes them until the site sets them again.

How to limit ads and analytics

  • Google ad personalization: adssettings.google.com
  • Google Analytics opt-out: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
  • Meta ad preferences: facebook.com/adpreferences
  • Industry opt-out pages: optout.aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking them may stop remarketing. It does not block every ad, and some ads may then be less relevant. Browser signals such as Global Privacy Control are honored where the law requires a business to treat that signal as an opt-out of sale or sharing.

10. How long we keep information

  • Inquiry emails are kept long enough to respond and, if a project proceeds, as part of that record.
  • Account and project records are kept for the life of the engagement.
  • After the work ends, we keep records we still need for warranties, insurance, licensing, tax, safety, or legal defense, and then delete or de-identify them.
  • Offline copies on a phone or tablet remain until the app uploads them, you remove them, or you uninstall the app.
  • A password-reset code is used once and then expires.
  • Advertising and analytics cookies remain until they expire or you delete them. Google and Meta keep event data under their own retention settings.

11. Security

Accounts are protected with passwords, and sessions can be revoked. Optional biometric unlock stays on the device. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Do not send account passwords in an ordinary email.

12. Your choices and requests

You may email info@anberquality.com to:

  • ask what account or inquiry information we hold about you;
  • correct a name, email, phone number, or project contact detail;
  • ask us to delete information we are not required to keep;
  • stop email about a consultation that did not become a project; or
  • opt out of sale or sharing of website advertising data where state law gives you that right.

We may need to confirm that the request comes from the account holder or the person who submitted the inquiry. We will not delete records we must retain for a legal, licensing, insurance, or safety obligation. Project files that other authorized people still need may be retained for those people even if you close your own login.

Residents of states that provide access, correction, or deletion rights can use the same email. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.

13. Children

The website, portal, and apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information or aim Google or Meta ads at them. If you believe a child has given us information, email info@anberquality.com and we will delete it.

14. Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. If a change materially affects how the apps use personal information, we will also provide notice in the app or by email when we have an address for the account.
